Virtual commissioning for body shops

SOP does not move. We arrive on site with the PLC, the robots and the safety logic already validated against the cell twin, so the launch window goes to production instead of debugging.

01 The problem

Forty robots, one PLC, and a first meeting on the floor.

A body shop is the plant's densest integration problem, and its control is tested last, so every slip lands in your launch window. SOP was committed months ago. EV retooling narrows the window further: the shutdown you get is days, not weeks.

Note

ANFAC: Spain, Europe's second-largest vehicle producer, built 2,274,026 vehicles in 2025, 225,206 of them electrified (+11.2%). The federation attributes part of the decline to plants adapting to new electrified models.

02 Our layer

The control layer, end to end.

Your line builder delivers the mechanics and the tooling. We deliver everything that moves them: PLC, robots, safety and the electrics, debugged against one cell twin before the cell exists. By the time the control reaches your floor, it has already run.

03 Where we come in

Every line type fails in its own way.

  1. Body shop

Dozens of robots, one PLC and overlapping safety zones meet here for the first time. By power-up, sequences, interlocks and cycle times have already run together, and the paths arrive collision-free.

  2. Paint shop

Booths, colour changes and motion synced to the conveyor: here a logic slip stops the line. The sequences are proven where a mistake costs a correction, not a stop.

  3. Final assembly

Screwdriving, gluing and guided vision share the station with operators, and ramp-up is a bad place to discover the safety concept. Safety and work allocation are settled before real takt arrives.

  4. Model changeover & EV retooling

Brownfield retooling and battery lines happen with the plant still producing. The control is prepared during current production, so the shutdown you get is installation, not programming.

05 Automotive rigour

The OEM standard is the starting point, not the obstacle.

  1. We program inside your standard

Naming, block structure, diagnostics and documentation to the programme's standard. We don't translate our style into yours, or leave your plant team with code they don't recognise.

  2. Robot and PLC, one team

The cell ships whole. Signals between robot, PLC and safety are mapped and tested together, not in two projects that first meet on the floor.

  3. The people who program are the people who start it up

The same team that proved the cell against its twin is on site through ramp-up. No handover, no explaining the line twice. SOP stays where you committed it.
