Automation that Starts from Within
Most companies offer industrial automation outward. We also apply it inward. Since 2024, our Artificial Intelligence Department has begun integrating AI-based solutions that are already improving our internal engineering, validation, and programming processes. This work builds on the foundation laid by our R&D team, active since 2021, which has driven continuous improvements in our technical methodologies.
This decision has changed the way we work: we’ve reduced development times, increased technical precision, and eliminated many of the errors that previously were only detected in the final stages. All without losing the technical control that defines RBX.
Internal AI Chatbots: Accurate Information, Instant Answers
One of the first use cases was the implementation of internal AI chatbots. These systems allow teams to access technical documentation, project histories, client standards, and past experiences — all in real time.
The result: fewer interruptions, less dependency on middle management, and greater autonomy for technical talent. The implementation of chatbots wasn’t cosmetic — it was a real operational accelerator.
Autonomous Programming: AI that Collaborates with the Engineer
AI is also optimizing code generation for PLCs and robots. It doesn’t replace the programmer, but it enables faster work, fewer baseline errors, and more focus on high-level logic.
The engineer enters the functional requirements, and the AI proposes initial code structures based on validated templates and predefined technical criteria. For robots, it also suggests optimized initial trajectories based on physical constraints, cycle times, and layout conditions. It’s a form of assisted programming, with a direct impact on quality and delivery time.
Virtual Commissioning with AI: Anticipate Before You Fail
At RBX, we’re pioneers in Virtual Commissioning, and artificial intelligence is amplifying its power.
AI allows us to analyze thousands of simulated scenarios to detect logic conflicts, synchronization errors, or layout issues before they reach the shop floor. This reduces adjustments during commissioning and ensures that virtual validation is truly predictive — not just illustrative.
The combination of AI, simulation, and Virtual Commissioning is redefining how we understand industrial reliability.
Why We Do It: Less Friction, More Precision
Integrating AI into our own processes has allowed us to work with less internal friction, make more informed decisions, and scale more coherently. We’re not looking to replace programmers — we want each person to have real tools to solve problems better.
Today, AI isn’t an added value at RBX. It’s part of the model. And that translates into more reliable, faster, and smarter projects.
Words That Matter
AI. Artificial intelligence. Chatbot implementation. Virtual Commissioning. PLCs. Robots. These aren’t buzzwords. They’re part of the operating system we work with every day.
And unlike others, we don’t speak of it as a promise. We apply it as a practice.
